The system replaces the factory radius arm configuration with a heavy-duty 4-link suspension conversion, improving axle positioning, suspension articulation, and caster control throughout wheel travel. This upgrade enhances stability, steering response, and overall handling when compared to the factory setup.

Up front, the lift kit features diesel-specific progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, designed to deliver the correct lift height while maintaining a smooth and predictable ride on and off the road. Steering geometry is corrected with a forged drop pitman arm and heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket, ensuring proper steering alignment and confident handling after lifting the truck.

To maintain proper driveline operation, BDS includes a transfer case indexing ring and high-strength transmission crossmember, allowing the factory driveshaft to function properly at the increased ride height. In the rear, the system works with the factory auto-level rear air suspension, utilizing heavy-duty air bag spacers, lift blocks, and longer U-bolts to maintain proper suspension operation.
