Upgrade the suspension capability and stance of your 2013–2018 Ram 3500 4WD gas truck with the BDS Suspension 4 Inch Lift Kit featuring a 4-Link conversion system. Designed to improve suspension geometry, strength, and ride quality, this complete suspension system increases ground clearance and allows clearance for up to 35-inch tires while maintaining dependable on-road handling and off-road performance.
At the front of the system, BDS replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms with a heavy-duty 4-link suspension design. This conversion improves axle positioning, reduces caster change through suspension travel, and significantly increases overall suspension strength and stability. The system utilizes high-strength ¼-inch steel conversion brackets and heavy-duty upper and lower control arms to properly locate the axle and optimize suspension performance.
The front suspension also includes gas-specific Pro-Ride progressive rate coil springs engineered to provide the correct lift height while delivering a smooth and predictable ride across varying terrain conditions. Steering geometry is corrected using a forged drop pitman arm paired with a heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket, helping maintain proper steering alignment and recenter the front axle after lifting the vehicle.
Additional components such as sway bar relocation hardware, bump stops, brake line brackets, and installation hardware ensure factory components continue to operate properly at the new ride height.
In the rear, the kit levels the truck’s stance using a high-strength fabricated lift block and extended U-bolts, maintaining proper rear suspension function while matching the increased front ride height. The system is paired with NX2 Nitro Series gas shocks or optional FOX Performance Series shocks to improve damping performance and provide better control both on-road and off-road.
