Engineered for strength, durability, and improved suspension geometry, this complete suspension system increases ground clearance while allowing clearance for up to 37-inch tires without sacrificing handling or ride comfort.
At the front of the system, BDS replaces the factory stamped steel radius arms with a high-strength 4-link suspension design. This conversion improves suspension articulation, axle positioning, and steering stability while reducing caster change throughout suspension travel. The system utilizes ¼-inch steel conversion brackets and heavy-duty upper and lower control arms designed to deliver increased durability and improved suspension performance for lifted heavy-duty trucks.
The front suspension also includes diesel-specific Pro-Ride progressive rate coil springs engineered to provide the correct lift height while delivering a smooth and predictable ride across varying terrain conditions. Steering geometry is corrected using a forged drop pitman arm paired with a heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket, helping maintain proper steering alignment and recenter the front axle after lifting the vehicle.
Due to the increased lift height, the kit includes a transfer case indexing ring and heavy-duty transmission crossmember to properly correct front driveline angles while allowing continued use of the factory front driveshaft.
In the rear, BDS uses progressive-rate Pro-Ride coil springs, sway bar links, bump stop extensions, and a track bar relocation bracket to properly position the rear axle and maintain stable handling characteristics. The system is paired with NX2 Nitro Series gas shocks or optional FOX Performance Series shocks for improved damping control and enhanced ride comfort both on-road and off-road.
